Movie Theatre

This licence allows music theatres in Canada the opportunity to copy sound recordings and music videos for use in movie theatres.

Some terms of this agreement include:

• A list of sound recordings and music videos, the recording artists and record company name and a list of movie theatres receiving the programs must be submitted to AVLA.
• Programs will be made available to commercial theatres only and are not intended for home use.
• You are required to transfer sound recordings and music videos from AVLA approved sources only.
• The sound recordings and music videos must be copied at equal or higher quality as intended by the record company.
• The sound recordings and music videos may not contain any commercial messages nor edited or altered in any way.

Fee:
The licence fee is $30.00 per sound recording and $60.00 per music videos per client per 8 week period.
